From diagnosis to treatment: assessments that heal

For the past 10 years, I worked in rehabilitation developing a specialty in acquired brain injury. I saw patients consistently getting better, at times beyond our wildest hopes. I see evaluations of brain injury as means to treatment. Thus, I aim to understand the nuances of your cognitive patterns and to provide specific and applicable treatment recommendations. For this reason, I do not use psychometrists(technicians who administer tests), but instead do all the testing myself: observing how you approach a task will often provide more insight as to which neurological processes are responsible for the outcome you are experiencing, than an analysis of the tests' data alone. After the evaluation, I will schedule a feedback session to explain findings and what are the next steps to improve your life and that of your loved ones.

Assessment of acquired brain injury includes:

  • Traumatic Brain Injury/Concussion
  • Stroke
  • Encephalopathies
  • Cancer
  • Seizure Disorder
